Tribute to the great American saxophonist Michel Becker. This time Carles GR chose a quartet featuring Sylvain  Sourdeix on soprano and tenor saxophone, Philippe Petit on Hammond organ and the legendary Philippe Combelle on drums.

The repertoire includes Michel Brecker’s three main periods: Steps Ahead, The Brecker’s Brothers and his career a the leader of his own band.

This work represents the fruits of a tour around South America  that , when recorded, sounds  like a compact musical group with their own identity  performing a colourful and energetic repertoire with real  skill . Here we can also find original compositions by Carles GR and Philippe Petit.
